Al Gore - Idiot

With the snow and blizzards this winter of 2010 and 11, you would think that the nut-balls pushing global warming would have egg on their face. But as I’ve mentioned before, liberals have this super-power that allows them to ignore facts, and even ignore statements and positions they have taken in the past. They then present a whole new set of “facts” that correspond to their newfound reality; oblivious to their own hypocrisy. Tomorrow a new reality may appear that requires a whole new set of “facts”.

And they are so good at it! I mean, even I question if they are just that good at lying or that good at self-delusion. There is no way to tell.

Case in point. Bill O’Reilly of Fox News recently mentioned the same weather and joked that he had a call in to Al Gore to help explain the phenomenon.

Having millions if not more at stake, Al Gore answered the challenge. In his blog Al stated “As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming. In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe.”

You can read his whole response HERE. That is, if his blog can stay up. It seems the inventor of the internet has had a few problems with the volume of people wanting to view his chutzpa.

If what Al says is true, then why haven’t his colleagues on the left been listening to the same “scientist”? And, what scientist are they listening to… because their scientist haven’t been saying more snow equals global warming… they’ve been talking about the lack of snow as proof of global warming. Not that this is a problem for the superpowers of those on the left.

Here are just a few examples:

We need a climate change strategy, and we need a climate change strategy badly. Look at the kind of winter we have had in Washington. One snow! Three Inches! Look at the drought that has come upon this area of the country during the winter season. What can we expect during the spring and summer seasons? What’s going to happen to our crops and livestock, our economy? This is serious! I’ve lived a long time. Eighty-four years. Something is going on out there. I don’t need a scientist to tell me that. The difference in the winters, the differences in the summers, in the temperatures, in the water level. There is something happening, and we had better be aware of it. We had better do something about it.

Looking at the United States of America the IPCC clearly warned that unchecked global warming will lead to reduced snow pack in the Western Mountains clearly receding access to water which is our life blood.

Conclusion:
Al and the eco-nuts want it all ways. Less snow is proof of global warming. More snow is proof of global warming. Getting hotter, getting colder, wet, dry, stronger storms, no storms… It must be nice to have a theory that is proven by any change in the weather what-so-ever. These shysters have turned the scientific method on its head and are a disgrace. Luckily we have their own words and actions to expose them again and again.

Uncle Sam Becomes an Average Joe

What if Uncle Sam were a man you met walking down the street. A man with a job, a mortgage, bills to pay, and like a lot of us, debt. How would he compare to us when it comes to running his personal finances. Well, there’s one way to find out. Convert him into an Average Joe.

The spreadsheet (linked to) below takes what Uncle Sam collects from us and treats it like his income. It takes his debt and treats it like well… his debt. And so on… It then converts that income into the equivalent of someone making $45,000 a year (Slightly above the national average for 2010). Now we can use those numbers to see how Uncle Sam is running his financial affairs (our nation) from our perspective without all those unfathomable figures getting in the way.

This by the way is not pretty. If Uncle Sam were a person he would be on the verge of bankruptcy; and will actually have no choice in the matter in a few short years.

One difference though… Uncle Sam the person can’t leave his debt to his children. The worst he can do is leave them nothing; which is a shame. Uncle Sam the government can and will leave his debt to his children. They will inherit less than nothing; they will inherit bondage; and THAT is criminal.
