Elizabeth Warren is a consistent liar about her past in order to push a narrative of victimhood. The Main Stream Media (MSM) can carry her water, but exactly how much can they ignore if she becomes the nominee? Case in point… Hillary Clinton…

American Indian:

Everyone is (or should be) familiar with Warren’s claims of American Indian heritage that she used to further her academic and political careers. She took a DNA test and thought she could pass off trace relations as proof, but that blew up in her face (as it should have).

Lost Teaching Job:

Now Warren is claiming (repeatedly on the stump) that she was let go from being a teacher (her first job out of college) because she was “visibly pregnant.”

“I still remember the 4 to 6-year-olds, I still remember the faces of every one of them. I remember some of our lessons, the things we worked on, I remember our successes, and our failures. I loved that work, and I would probably still be doing in that work today, but my story has some more turns. By the end of the first year, I was visibly pregnant, and the principal did what principals did in those days. Wished me luck, and hired someone else for the job. Okay.” — Elizabeth Warren, Presidental Candidate 2019

But Not Really:

The only problem is there are two key pieces of evidence that dispute that.

One: The minutes from April 21, 1971, Riverdale Board of Education meeting.

“Non-tenure Teachers B.3.a.145 Motion by Mr. Carlough, seconded by MR. O’Shea approving issuance of contracts to the following non-tenure teachers: … Mrs. Elizabeth Warren – 2 days per week, Speech.” (This is basically a job offer for Warren’s 2nd year of teaching.)

But… from the minutes from a later board meeting read…

“Resignation B.3.a.169 The resignation of Mrs. Elizabeth Warren, speech correctionist effective June 30, 1971 was accepted with regret. Motion by Mr. Tintle, seconded by Mr. Carlough, Roll call vote, All eyes.” (Warren resigned? Why? Maybe it was her decision?)

Two: A video of Warren telling a different story back in 2007

“I was married at nineteen and graduated from college after I’d married, and my first year post-graduation I worked in a public school system with the children with disabilities. I did that for a year, and then that summer I didn’t have the education courses, so I was on an ’emergency certificate,’ it was called. I went back to graduate school and took a couple of courses in education and said, ‘I don’t think this is going to work out for me.’ And I was pregnant with my first baby. So I had a baby and stayed home for a couple of years…”

Doesn’t quite mesh with her story today, does it?

Patterns:

One has to ask, do these people (politicians) not understand the concept of video and the internet? Warren, in particular, seems to have a problem with that concept. In this day and age, nothing is buried so deep that it can’t be unearthed (if… And that’s a big IF… somebody is willing to look for it).

Granted, the MSM is more than willing to not only NOT look (of you are of a leftist bent), but heap a bit more dirt on top of buried facts. Still, despite the best efforts of the MSM, the facts sometimes find a way of surfacing. Good. Imagine what would be uncovered the MSM even remotely tried to cover the news?

The Nature of Sharks:

Consider the shark that swims the oceans. It kills, and it eats. Does the shark ever consider the moral or ethical implications of its actions? No. It’s a shark, and it just does what sharks do. Corporations are sharks.

I worked for Enron back in the 90s and saw firsthand what corporations are capable of when led by men of questionable character. Well before the implosion, it was apparent to me that Key Lay (and other top management) couldn’t be trusted. Lay, in particular, was in bed with the Houston mayor (Bob Lanier), and the two were always up to a lot of under-the-table wheeling and dealing.

I’ll note that the Houston Chronicle at the time knew all about it and turned a blind eye to it because it suited their (political and financial) interests; which gave Lanier and Lay confidence to be in bolder in their schemes. The willful negligence of the Houston Chronicle made Enron possible. (History is repeating itself.)

I will always remember that Enron often sent out emails to employees, “informing” us on issues and practically telling us how to vote. I also remember that if Enron officially told you something; you could safely bet the exact opposite was true. (I.E., Everything is okay… buy more stock while it’s cheap.) When a corporation says something, NEVER take it at face value; look at the motivation and purpose behind it.

The bad news is Enron is the rule, not the exception. Enron was a shark that bit off more than it could chew. Most other corporations are also just sharks doing what sharks do.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Corporations aren’t evil or immoral, any more than a shark is. A corporation is AMORAL and will simply do what is in ITS best interest. A corporation will choose to do good just as quickly as bad if and when good is in its best interest. The only problem is that bad is generally more profitable in this world.

Influence and China:

Years ago, many were naive enough to think that as China became a global economic entity, they would be positively influenced by the West. These people believed that China would open up their markets and extend human rights to its citizens as they realized we are just one big happy planet. Instead, it seems the West was more influenced by the likes of China (Communism and Totalitarianism). We believe less in capitalism, free markets, individual rights, and liberty/freedom.

One only need look at where the Democratic Party is today to see the shift; the socialist leanings, the propaganda, the abandonment of the rule of law, the embrace of the oligarchy and deep state, the rejection of capitalism and founding principles.

But I digress from my intended topic. Corporations. Sports this week has shown us the nature of corporations and their willingness to sell out American values and interests. In particular, we saw this from the Blizzard Entertainment, NBA and ESPN.

Blizzard Entertainment:

Blizzard Entertainment is a Santa Monica, California-based e-sports company that also has China market access asperations. This week they suspended Chung Ng Wai, a Hong Kong player of the game Hearthstone and confiscated prize money Mr. Chung had won in tournaments. Why? Chung had publically supported Hong Kong democracy in live-streamed interviews.

The world of e-sports had its own run-in with Chinese politics on Tuesday, when Blizzard Entertainment said it was suspending Chung Ng Wai, a Hong Kong player of the game Hearthstone, for a year and forcing him to forfeit prize money. Mr. Chung, who uses the name Blitzchung, had spoken out in support of the Hong Kong protests during a live-streamed interview.

What was Blizzard Entertainments’ official reason? Mr. Chung’s actions (supporting Hong Kong democracy) were of the type that “brings you into public disrepute, offends a portion or group of the public, or otherwise damages Blizzard’s image.”

Is it me or does this reason 1) apply to just about any action conceivable AND 2) seem very, very dystopian.

ESPN:

ESPN (the wokest of networks) recently reported from China as they try to expand their business there and… displayed a map of China on their Sportscenter program. OK so far, EXCEPT, they used the map provided to them by China, which just so happens to include (as Chinese territory) the South China Sea, Taiwan, part of the Philippines, and Arunachal Pradesh (and Indian state). The map has been a common piece of Chinese propaganda for years and ESPN has no problem with that.

Meanwhile, ESPN (corporate management) has also been very clear that any reference to the NBA mess (see below) is to be gentle to Chinese totalitarian sensitivities.

The NBA:

A very woke general manager of the Houston Rockets (Daryl Morey) recently made the mistake of personally tweeting his support for the pro-democracy protest movement in Hong Kong. The tweet was short and simple. “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong.”

That’s actually good. Anybody and everybody should be supportive of democracy for those who desire it.

But then… all hell broke loose. China made it very clear that the business-as-usual arrangement with the NBA was null and void until the NBA properly dealt with Morey and repudiated his statement.

The NBA jumped into action…
1. Morey immediately deleted the tweet. (Yay for liberal principles!)
2. The NBA tried to straddle the fence (with two or three official statements) to appease China and not obviously abandon American principles of free speech. They failed on both accounts. China is still pissed, and they just exposed their hypocrisy to the U.S.
3. Morey, meanwhile, realized his job is in jeopardy (and it still is) and tweeted a massive mia culpa.

“I did not intend my tweet to cause any offense to Rockets fans and friends of mine in China. I was merely voicing one thought, based on one interpretation, of one complicated event. I have had a lot of opportunity since that tweet to hear and consider other perspectives. I have always appreciated the significant support our Chinese fans and sponsors have provided and I would hope that those who are upset will know that offending or misunderstanding them was not my intention. My tweets are my own and in no way represent the Rockets or the NBA.” — Daryl Morey

Now there’s a man of (liberal) principle. [Eyes rolling]

The incident has since encouraged NBA fans to offer their opinion on Chinese abuses of human rights… to which the NBA has had goons (security) confiscate signs, and eject fans from games. In defense of the fans, they may have listened to the NBA statements in which they said they supported free speech, taken the words at face value, and assumed that extended to them. It does not. There’s nothing personal in all this, it’s just about what this shark (the NBA) considers to be best for the bottom line.

My Take:

I would say I don’t care one way or the other concerning these troubles ESPN and the NBA face, but I do care. It’s vaguely satisfying when karma chews a posterior other than mine. When ultra woke corporations (like ESPN and the NBA) suffer the wrath of the monsters they create and bow down to? Well… pass the popcorn. 🙂

Bonus Take:

I’m not a big South Park fan though I’ve occasionally seen the show. I do give the creators (Trey Parker and Matt Stone) credit for being intellectually honest libertarians. They give hell to both sides.

China tried to do to them this week what they did to the NBA. Parker and Stone took this rare opportunity to troll both China and the NBA. Good for them.

“Like the N.B.A., we welcome the Chinese censors into our homes and into our hearts. We too love money more than freedom and democracy.” — Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park

China’s response was to throw everything related to South Park in the memory hole (see 1984). Try to google “South Park” in China right now and see what you get…

Still, it’s good to see somebody (the libertarians in this case) stand on principle while others (all the woke leftist like Morey, the NBA, & ESPN) throw principle in the toilet. South Park just went up a notch in my book.

The Threat:

If I were to pick THE biggest existential threat to the Republic (and there are many), it would be the national debt. Spending. The size of our behemoth government. (Did I cheat by lumping these together?)

Right now, every man, woman, and child in this nation owes about $70,000 as their part of the national debt. If we just count the people paying taxes that bill is quickly approaching $200,000 per taxpayer.

The Compromise:

The new (7/22/2019) bipartisan budget compromise accomplishes the following:
♦ It pushes the next budget “debate” past the 2020 election
♦ It agrees to $2.7 trillion in spending over the next two years (a $50 billion increase)
♦ It suspends the law/agreement from 2011 that requires automatic spending cuts (known as sequester)

Trump announced the agreement on Twitter, stating, “This was a real compromise in order to give another big victory to our Great Military and Vets!”

Bullshit! THAT, my friends, is spin after the surrender.

Another Failure:

On this existential issue, Trump is failing miserably. On this issue, the GOP is failing miserably. Both are on track to approve yet another “compromise” that will ensure more deficits and debt, more big government, and their primary goal, no government shut-down.

Is it too much to ask that Trump and the GOP at least try? Apparently so.

The Winners:

I would mention the Democrats in this debacle, but THEY aren’t failing miserably at all. They are succeeding brilliantly. Deficits? Debt? Big government? Massive regulation and bureaucracy? These are their power base.

The most significant victory the Democrats have achieved in this battle is the stigma they have placed on a “government shut-down”; thanks in large part to their allies in the Mainstream Media.

A government shut-down is but one of the steps that will eventually be required if this problem is ever to be solved. And we’re talking about a REAL shut-down. One that lasts for months and months; and one where the bureaucrats aren’t paid for the time missed.

What It Means:

What does this latest defeat of common sense and logic mean for our future? Working longer before retirement, our savings and standard of living diminished.

What does this mean to our children’s future? Debtors slavery to big government. The tax levels that will be required to service the debt we are accruing is like a great chain around the necks of our posterity, and we put it there. It is morally indefensible. It is generational theft!

Conclusion:

Government this size cannot continue. Spending at this level cannot continue. To borrow a phrase, “Eventually you run out of other people’s money.”

Eventually (if we are to save the Republic and our children’s future), someone is not only going to have to step on the breaks and stop this slog to fiscal hell; but actually turn this vehicle/nation around toward fiscal solvency. To date, Trump is not that someone, the GOP has never been, and the Democrats just want to step on the gas.

There are morons, there are total morons, and there are Democratic Congresswomen. I don’t know what rock the Democratic Party rolled over to find these idiots, but it is getting tiresome. Two of these women recently toured detention centers (one in Texas and one in Florida) to push LIES and propaganda to justify open borders.

You might think that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) was the biggest female, Democratic, moron (but I’m being redundant) to open her mouth this week. At best, the question would have to be resolved with a coin flip. Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson (of Florida) showed her proverbial ass as well.

Learning that Border Patrol agents may have disparaged immigrants and congresspeople in a private Facebook group, she spewed the following.

“Those people who are online making fun of members of Congress are a disgrace, and there is no need for anyone think that is unacceptable (sic),”

Now if we stop right there, then Wilson would have inadvertently spoken a truth fundamental to the ideal of freedom of speech. BUT only because this fool is barely literate, barely retaining the mental capacity to put basic sentences together.

Luckily for us, she continues and further exposes her total ignorance.

“We’re gonna shut them down and work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted. You cannot intimidate members of Congress, frighten members of Congress. It is against the law, and it’s a shame in this United States of America.”

A few bullet points:
♦ It is not illegal for anybody to make fun of Congress, in fact, for anyone to “think that is unacceptable” would be ridiculous.

♦ Free speech and ridicule (fun) is NOT intimidation.

♦ Not knowing and verbalizing ignorance of these facts makes you unfit for public office.

♦ This idiot (Frederica Wilson) is not alone in being unfit for the office she holds. There is the old guard (Maxine Waters, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Sheila Jackson Lee) and the new guard (AOC, Ilhan Omar)

Sadly, such people walk the halls of Congress. Sadly, their number seems to be increasing, and their mouths seem to be getting more garish and shrill.

Again… every now and then I see something… almost a message from God that says, “I know you sometimes have doubts, but you are on the right side of this battle; and here is proof. Keep fighting for what is right.”

This video is one of those moments. (see below)

Bill Nye is a leftist hack, who uses “science” as a club to push his religion (secular leftism). Recently (on Earth Day, 2017) he was insulted when CNN actually had a real scientist on air to debate him on climate change. Admittedly, surprise was in order, but indignation?

Then a few days ago, he misquoted the Constitution implying that it provided for massive federal spending and who knows what else…

“Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution says the government shall ‘promote the progress of science and useful arts’, so if you’re a politician looking to derail the progress of science, I think you’re not doing your job.” — Bill Nye

[Note: Article I Section 8 is the Copyright Clause, which establishes a legal framework to protect intellectual property rights. Only a moron or liar would attempt such an interpretation. Granted, this is not beyond the hacks on the SCOTUS who believe in a living Constitution.]

But all this (the idiocy, the hypocrisy) is just normal every-day Bill Nye and the left. Not the line-crossing affirming revelation that I speak of. That came from the following musical performance recently presented to us by Bill Nye on his new show (Bill Nye Saves the World) (a Netflix Production).

(Warning: This really isn’t for the squeamish… you can’t unsee this… )

Yep… Bill just decided to apply his “science” cudgel to anything-goes-sexuality (“It’s evolution, aint nothin’ new” after all). The hubris and depravity on display is astounding! This is the road to hell the left is taking us down at a dead run.

I owe Bill Nye a nod for this affirmation… I’m not perfect; but if I’m NOT walking the same road as you (and the ilk on display here), I’m at least doing something right.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a gambler. 🙂 Encouraged to retire in the latter half of the Obama administration, Ginsburg wanted an extra year or three on the SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the United States) bench; and why should she deny herself that when Hillary Rodham Clinton was practically the next anointed President. So of course, she placed that bet; hang on and let Hillary name her replacement. It was a perfect cake eating and having scenario. 🙂

But a funny thing happened on the way to retirement. Hillary aint President. Now what? Hope for impeachment (a leftist pipe dream)? Last time I looked the POTUS succession line was about five or six GOP deep. Maybe try to hang on for another four years? That might work; but what if that next election doesn’t pan out either… eight is entirely different; eight is a long, long time.

Me? I find the predicament quite humorous. 🙂 When your enemies are gnashing teeth and rending garments it makes for good theater. And I’ve always been a big fan of karma (when she’s not biting me on the ass).

I bring this up only because I recently read a proposal from conservative news CEO Chris Ruddy (Newsmax.com). Ruddy has suggested Trump extend an olive branch to the left; a deal if you may. He thinks that President Donald Trump should offer that deal to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Retire now… and he will nominate… Judge Merrick Garland (President Barack Obama’s last nominee) to replace her.

I can’t say I’m in favor of the plan, but I can’t say I’m against it either. I’ve keep inching from one side to the over, more often than not against it.

Pro:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg (the least qualified member of the SCOTUS) will no longer be on the SCOTUS.

Con:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be replaced by a slightly less not qualified judge.

Side Note: Anyone who believes in a living Constitution is not qualified to be a judge (or to hold any appointed or elected office).

Pro:
You’re replacing an ultra-leftist jurist with a moderate.

Con:
A moderate is just someone who pauses in the center… before turning left.

Pro:
It’s always the moral thing to do to seek common ground, to seek compromise, to extend the olive branch to your opposition.

Con:
The left has and never will reciprocate. The olive branch will get you NOTHING in return (besides Ginsburg gone). And if you think you’re going to get something; you sure as ^%$# better get your end first, have it in writing, or have a means to ensure the terms are met.

When it comes down to it, it’s a gamble. Issues at hand mean literally life or death for tens of thousands… religious liberty or further persecution… free speech… gun rights… issues core to the fabric of a healthy (or sick) republic. You’re giving up the possibility of a major shift (in the right direction) in the SCOTUS for a little insurance that we will only trot to hell vs sprint. I just can’t make that deal… If we’re taking the country to hell, let’s do it at a dead (leftist) run… OR… turn around. I’m really not interested in anything in the middle (the trotting option).

Sure, there’s that nagging feeling of “should we make a deal”. Are we repeating the mistake of a proud old woman? And consider that our odds aren’t nearly as good as hers were…

Adding insult to injury (costing them the 2016 election), Russian hackers still seem to be targeting leftist groups, hacking their data and then extorting money out of them to not release said data. The Russians generally demand “small sums” of around $30K to $150K in untraceable bitcoins.

See Here: Russian Hackers Said to Seek Hush Money From Liberal Groups

I think this is hilarious, but then my ox isn’t being gored here. Unlike the left, I don’t equate attacks on non-government political organizations as attacks our government or our election. Also, it would be easy for the left to thwart these attacks by following two simple steps.

  1. Don’t be hypocrites. Have your internal emails/data match your public face. Hackers don’t blackmail you because of your “Creamy Risotto” recipe.
  2. Be competent in protecting your data (obviously more competent than you are at doing just about anything else).

Of course, we are talking about leftist here. Those two things (authenticity and competence) are by definition, exclusive.

We know it’s the Russians because of the tools they use to access the data. In a TexasLynn exclusive, I’ve duplicated the means by which these insidious hackers have acquired their ill-gotten data.

WARNING: Liberals read no further!!! (If John Podesta fell for this what chance do you have?)
