One of my favorite scenes from the movie Die Hard is when a policeman drives up to the terrorist occupied skyscraper before being convinced by the terrorist posing as a security guard that there is nothing amiss. As the police vehicle is about to drive off John McClane (the hero played by Bruce Willis) manages to hurl a dead terrorist a few stories down and onto the hood of the car… at which point the terrorist realize the gig is up and open fire on the unsuspecting cop inside the car. The cop peels out backwards across a manicured courtyard, bullets flying, screaming for backup. John McClane’s retort from the broken window above? “Welcome to the party, pal!”
“More and more Democrats in key 2014 races are calling for the president to get a spine, they say, and fire his Veterans Affairs secretary. And what more and more Democrats are saying privately is scathing, calling the president and his team detached, flat-footed, even incompetent. [Democrats privately say since the Obamacare debacle] they see a president who doesn’t want to take command, doesn’t want to act fast. [And the White House] doesn’t appear to have its hand on the lever.” — John King, CNN chief national correspondent
To which I say to King and those privately speaking Democrats… “Welcome to the party, pal!”
Barack Obama’s abject incompetence has been obvious and on display for years. All it would take to objectively see it is half-a-brain; thus explaining why most leftist in the main-stream-media are just now getting a clue. Not that I expect such revelations to make much of a difference with intellectually bankrupt hacks.
C’mon guys, repeat after me… “It’s Bush’s fault!”
