I had heard that one of Obama’s 23 worthless executive orders on gun violence allowed doctors to ask patients about guns in their homes. I didn’t really understand why; but discovered that this was a workaround for an Obamacare provision that prevented the government from collecting any information relating to “lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition.” I guess that invasion of privacy is OK now.
Now there are reports that some leftist pediatricians distribute handouts that warn you to never have a gun in the house and if you must, make sure it is totally worthless as for as self-protection.
I guess a doctor could ask me these types of questions or provide me with anti-gun handouts…
But he should only do that IF he wants me to rip him a new one (figuratively, verbally, and loudly) in front of peers, staff, and patients right then and there.
To any doctors that think they want to introduce leftist dogma into their medical practices, I say, “Do your job, dumb-ass!”
I think the President is underestimating the strength if HIPPA, and that this is a ridiculous maneuver. It will surely backfire — pun intended.
